Delete your account

Inside the app

The shortest route runs through the app and takes two steps:

• Open your profile (avatar, top left) → Settings → Account & data
• Tap Delete account and confirm

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. The app returns to the sign-in screen. If you sign in again later with the same address, you get a new, empty account.

Without the app

If you no longer have access to your device or your account, write to info@visco.dev. Give us the email address or the username of the account. We confirm receipt and delete within 30 days.

We will check first that the request really comes from you. That is not red tape: without it, anyone who knows your username could have your account deleted.

What gets deleted

• Your account, including sign-in, name, username, handedness and handicap
• Every session, swing and measured value
• Drill progress, experience points, streak and badges
• Clubhouse posts, comments, messages and memberships
• Uploaded videos and images, your profile picture and the swing archive
• The local place cache on your device, including the coordinates it holds

What stays

Records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices under German commercial and tax law. They are blocked from further use and contain no swing data.

Videos held only on your device are removed by the app itself after seven days at the latest. If you saved a clip to your photo library yourself, that copy stays with you. We cannot reach it, and that is by design.

Your data without deleting the account

You can take your data with you instead: Settings → Account & data → Export data hands you everything as a file. The export is free and stays free. More in the privacy policy.
